Dromon Bureau of Shipping has revised its strategy for the period of 2009 - 2011.
There were three main factors that DBS had to revise its strategy, as follows:
- The global financial recession that affected the Maritime community
- The climate changes and in particular reducing greenhouse emissions and the effects on the Shipping industry with the changes of MARPOL and other important factors
- Surveys to be carried out by exclusive surveyors
DBS strategy will be to establish small but flexible exclusive offices that will be walking alongside with local ship owners and to provide cost effective solutions.
The identified customer expectations and requirements are met with the DBS expertise fast response to work alongside the customer in order to actively promote safety and quality through the service provided.
